A home occupation is an occupation conducted entirely, or in part, within the dwelling and which is clearly incidental and secondary to the use of the property for dwelling purposes. The following information must be submitted with your application:
1) A legal description. A legal description can generally be obtained from the deed, tax notice or the county recorder’s office.
2) County recorder property plat(s) showing all of the subject property, clearly marked, and all adjoining properties. Plats can be obtained from the County recorder’s office, or the South Weber City office for a nominal fee.
3) Copy of the fire inspection approval certificate. All businesses, including home occupations, must have an inspection by the South Weber Fire Department.
4) Verification of the State sales tax number, State contractor’s number and the business name registration, if applicable.
